Michael Jackson (MJ) has dedicated his career to leading enterprises through sustainable digital transformations that enable them to securely connect the world and improve the health of its populations.
As the healthcare strategy lead for the worldwide public sector at Amazon Web Services (AWS), MJ leads an agile team that defines and drives strategies to commercialize industry-specific cloud offerings and address the unique needs of mission-driven stakeholders.
Prior to joining AWS, MJ served as general manager of consumer health at Intel Corporation, providing executive leadership, vision and go-to-market strategy for growth and expansion in consumer healthcare markets worldwide.
Previously, as director of public sector and health strategy at Adobe Systems, MJ led strategy for the healthcare and public sector business units, including transformative shifts in software licensing models from perpetual to cloud-based subscriptions, for a suite of modular solutions currently trusted to help power federal, state and commercial health benefits exchanges in more than 30 U.S. states.
MJ earned an MBA and a bachelor’s degree in management information systems from the University of Baltimore. He is also a proud veteran of the U.S. Coast Guard and serves on the board of directors at Health Care for the Homeless in Baltimore, Maryland.
